Brooke Shields’s Diet and Fitness Routine at 55

Brooke Shields has a fantastic aesthetic sense. Just that we common mortals can now see how she does it thanks to Instagram! With the aid of her personal trainer, Ngo Okafor, the 55-year-old model, actress, and mother of two has been posting weekly workouts for the abs, arms, legs, and even stretches that anyone can do at home.

After years of injuries and dancing, Shields underwent surgery in 2018 to replace a portion of her knee. She said on Today with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, “I started working on little individual muscles, and sort of shaping the muscles that don’t really get attention. “No need to perform a 100-pound deadlift. These tiny muscles can be activated with tiny movements, which tighten them all in by wrapping around larger muscles. Working with a personal trainer was a revelation because it was not excruciatingly painful.”

The celebrity began documenting her progress on Instagram, and as the world started to hunker down and needed at-home workout ideas more than ever, her workouts took off. Shields claims that having more than 1.1 million followers has given her the feeling that, at age 55, she is beginning a new chapter. Shields constantly switches up her exercise sets, varying everything from lower-body and arm exercises to the core and arms. The actress and model enjoys using uncomplicated tools or even common household items as props.

Shields put in a lot of effort in the gym with personal trainer Ngo Okafor before being quarantined at home. Of course, they now appear in videos on Shields’ Instagram account called “At Home Workouts” that feature at-home workouts.

Okafor offers Shields encouragement and practical advice in each video. Shields, for instance, shared a detailed tutorial of the penguin crunch, a fundamental move Okafor taught her.

She described the position as “on your back, knees bent, go down, and keep your stomach tight.” All you have to do is touch your outside ankle and your other outside ankle while keeping your back as flat on the floor as you can and your shoulders slightly raised.

She doesn’t adhere to a diet and places an emphasis on moderation.

Shields has repeatedly stated that balance is crucial to her, even though it can be difficult. She is not a fan of restrictive diets like the keto diet or intermittent fasting.
