A bit of a rebellious addition to the royal family, Meghan Markle also brings with her a rebellious sense of style. And we are fixated. Even though she looked stunning on her wedding day, it’s all of Miss Meghan’s stylish moments throughout the day that have us swooning.
The Royal Variety Show
Designer Safiyaa’s long maxi skirt paired with a sequin, leaf-printed halter top. The outfit’s lines made it almost appear as though it were a special garment. Black Aquazzura shoes and a gold and black clutch completed the sparkling look.
Veterans Day
Here, Markle opted for a Philip Treacy-designed black beret hat, which she paired with an equally stylish Jacki O suit set made by Emilia Wickstead. The midi-length skirt and crepe fabric worked beautifully with a cropped, shorter blazer.
In New Zealand
Markle looked like a princess in a gorgeous blue Gabriela Hearst dress that fit her like a glove (how appropriate!). The Duchess’s beautiful glow was only heightened by the altered dress straps and open necklace. She showed her support for regional economies by accessorizing with Stuart Weitzman heeled sandals and a pendant by a New Zealand-born designer.
Reception for Women’s Empowerment
This woman knows how to pull off the all-black look and isn’t afraid to make it her own. This is a variation on the Little Black Dress, although Markle chose her go-to midi silhouette this time, which was asymmetrically created by Black Halo. Small details like the slender belt and ankle wrap heels have us completely smitten.
Aussie Geographic Society Awards
Markle wore her upscale Disney princess style in an Oscar de la Renta “scribble dress” from his pre-fall 2018 collection, looking like a Black Swan masterpiece. This sophisticated, sleeveless outfit is embellished with laying birds rather than scribbles at the neck and hem.
United Kingdom Day
Meghan Markle wore a fascinator-style hat the first time she was spotted with the Queen, but this time she went with white rather than black. This outfit is simple yet perfect when worn with a navy dress by the same designer and a jacket that matches.
Invictus Games of Sydney Reception
Meghan Markle opted for colourful designs over neutrals this time instead of her typically understated wardrobe, testing out a green flowery dress by Self Portrait that looked stunning on her. Her very feminine decision is balanced out by a McQueen blazer, which lends a sense of business sophistication.
Hotel Grand Pacific
Even while this style isn’t the most elaborate, it still has beauty in its simplicity. Saafiya, a London-based fashion designer, designed a dramatic maxi ensemble with a cape that looked like a regal train in the ideal shade of blue. The Queen most likely borrowed the jewellery.
Northern Ireland’s Belfast
This outfit slayed and will always serve as our winter and fall fashion inspiration. A forest green skirt with a distinctive hem contrasted sharply with a luxuriously creamy cashmere Victoria Beckham pullover. Her romantic heels and a deep camel, front drape wool coat from Mackage completed the ensemble.
First-ever Single Engagement
This queen made a wise choice for her first solo outing, once again making us swoon in all black. She serves as a lesson in how different and dynamic black can appear. Givenchy’s long-sleeved outfit featured sheer panels, billowy sleeves, a dark panel on the torso, and a midi center-slit skirt. Certainly demure, but dull? No way.
